1. Stay Hydrated:
Water makes up 70% of our body mass and is one of the most vital nutrients. During the monsoon season, we not only lose out on this water content through sweating but rarely find ourselves feeling thirsty which is why we just don't drink enough water.

2. Balanced Diet:
The damp and filthy conditions in monsoon plays a host for many disease causing germs, which cause some serious health attacks like dengue, malaria, conjunctivitis, typhoid, viral fever, pneumonia, gastro intestinal disturbances, diarrhea and dysentery. If your immune system is weak you are supposed to catch these diseases instantly. To maintain healthy diet and protect you from such ill causes during the rainy season these countermeasures have to be taken.
3. Consume Clean fresh food:
Avoid eating fried items, pre- cut fruits and juices from road side vendors and stick to high quality and hygiene.
4. Keep away from monsoon insects:
In order to enjoy the monsoon at home, you have to make sure that your house is completely pests free or else you may catch up a serious disease.
5. Avoid street foods:
While street food is a no-no even in other seasons, it should definitely be avoided in the rains as the chances of infection simply multiply. These vendors are often spotted with a stall on the road and the foods are left uncovered.
6. Avoid Getting Feet wet:
Rainy season is the time when the maximum effect is rendered to your feet. The mud and dirt accumulated during the rainy season will be ideal to bring you loads of infection during the rainy season. There must be ways through which you must care your feet during rainy season.
7. Exercise & Rest:
Most of us exercise at the gym, or go out running or cycling, but what happens to your fitness and workouts when it rains? Overflowing drains hold even the most motivated among us hostage at home, and it's only a matter of time before lethargy sets in and fitness takes a break for the monsoon.
8. Take Care of children & eldery:
Keep away the children to play in the rain and rainy water. If you have kids and elderly people at home, they will be really susceptible and are affected with the health conditions like allergies, cough, cold etc.
9. Eye Care:
Monsoons bring with them an army of infections that cause eye pain and discomfort, so don’t ignore your eye health this monsoon. Viral infections are known to thrive and spread during rains due to increased moisture in the air.
10. Correct Clothing & Footwear:
The markets are flooded with coloured, printed and transparent raincoats and umbrellas.Be sure to choose a strong collapsible umbrella that will shield you from the rain yet fit into your bag.
